@Harshi, As always I took several shots and finally one came out with the details. This birdie is so tiny, almost like a half of the size that you see in this picture.
The Wildlife of Sri Lanka includes its flora and fauna and their natural habitats. Sri Lanka has one of the highest rates of biological endemism (16% of the fauna and 23% of flowering plants are endemic) in the world.
"Walk in Paradise" is dedicated to showcase the beauty of the Sri Lankan wildlife and it habitats.
Nice to see you back :)
ReplyDeleteCute birdie... what type is it? felt that there's something missing...tail? or is this a chick?
You are back :) That's wonderful - as your portrait of this lovely bird.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments Silent & Frieda.
ReplyDeleteYes I’m back, but don’t know for how long … :D
@Silent,
It’s a baby common Tailor-bird and I think this is the first time that he came out from its nest. You can see a fully grown up one
